“We stayed for 4 days. Had a great time. The room had an excellent view of Hilo Bay and we spent a lot of time on the balcony. Staff were great. Room was clean. The lobby had a great vibe in the evening and the free drink coupons offered to guests was a great perk. The hotel is under some renovation but that didn’t impact our enjoyment. ”

“We had the best time at Hamakua hotel. First, the manager was very accomodating and generous. The room was beautiful, big, clean, with big windows - so relaxing. And we had the chance to attend the surprise dinner on tuesday night. It was unbelievable. Truly, one of the best dinners in my life. We were amazed and so grateful. The Hamakua hotel is a pricey place to stay, but for the experience that we had, it was all worth it. Beyond expectations. We truly recommend it!”

“Our first time in Hawai’i, and this place was one of the highlights of our trip. Surrounded by lush forest and secluded, it was the perfect getaway. The central location on the island allows for east access to everywhere. We will definitely be talking about/recommending the volcano mist cottage to others. ”

“写真通りの素晴らしい部屋でしたが、一棟貸しで書いていたから借りたのに、同じ建物の1階に女の人がずっと住んでいました。 子どもの足音がうるさいとか、9時以降静かにしてくれとか、いちいち怒ってくる怖い人でした。 サウナとジムも一階のその人のリビングルームの前で、使えません。プライバシーがなく、他人と共同生活するような、とても不快な滞在でした。 ”
