“Very nice hotel closed to the city Center of Hilo. The hotel is fully renewed and it embraces the spirit of Big Island and Hilo particularly, with respect to the planet and providing nice amenities for Yoga and meditation. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff very nice. I couldn’t ask for a better stay ”

“Amazing view from the king suite! Charming character and appreciated keurig with coffee pods and creamer, silverware and paper plates, etc. Walls thin and had some disturbance from one neighbor. Parking is difficult and steep.”

“Beside the gorgeous garden and an acceptable breakfast, the whole structure needs a major restoration. Broken windows, uneven floor, dust, rust just to name some of the issues”

“Our room was sold as a full view of the falls from our balcony, but there was a roof line extended from below our balcony that obstructed the full view of the falls. The room space was a little smaller than expected. The grounds were great, the waterfall was beautiful. Breakfast was good and staff was friendly. The linens (primarily towels and wash cloth) needed to be updated/replaced. The outdoor dining area fell very short of it's potential. Such a beautiful location, but the design and...

“We had a good stay at Magic Skies. The property seemed to have a nice atmosphere with the different spaces and room themes though there were some areas undergoing maintenance at the time of our stay. We didn’t end up having the breakfast service offered but it seemed reasonable. Though overall was an enjoyable stay with a good location.”

“Es war eine voll eingerichtete Wohnung. Viel Deko überall. Machte es nett, aber auch irgendwie voll. Ich hatte leichte Probleme mich dort mit meinen Sachen/Reisegepäck zu integrieren, weil überall etwas herumstand oder herumlag. Das angepriesene Frühstück war etwas übertrieben dargestellt, es gab Kaffee und für 4 Nächte ein paar kleine Sachen, die man auch zum Frühstück verzerren konnte, aber es war halt kein Frühstück. Alles in allem aber eine nette, wenn auch gewöhnungsbedürftige...

“Beautiful house from the mid-1930’s filled with wonderful artifacts and Hawaiiana. Nice kitchen area for in home cooking - pots pans rice cooker etc- Comfynooks for relaxing- great wrap around deck with lounge chairs and a dining table! The garden is lush and creative. There are many cocqui frogs at night so if that bothers you, there is even ears plugs! Our only negative was that due to a plumbing issue my husband could not soak in the tub (for his degenerative disk) altho the shower worked...
