“A due passi dall'ingresso del Volcano National Park. Sistemazione confortevole, in mezzo alla giungla. I proprietari sono stati molto gentili, ci hanno lasciato una abbondante colazione. Le camere sono accoglienti anche se vista la posizione c'è mota umiditià, ma il posto ricompensa del disagio. ”

“needed a good update-repaint, minor repairs, confusing to find place/with reservation-was a recent death of owner so understandable, mahalo for continuing the reservation and the upgrade to a slightly larger place, security was basic-better locks on doors preferred but small town so didn't feel unsafe, laundry availability was much appreciated, basic selection of amenities, about 1/2 hr drive to volcanos park, ”

“Very quiet setting. We stayed in the Wolfie Suites, which were very clean and had a nice sitting room in addition to the bedroom. Very comfortable beds. There are no staff on the premises and you have to check in at a store which is a few minutes drive away. They prefer to know in advance exactly what time you expect to arrive for check in. Location only a mile from the park entrance was great.”

“We stayed in the Kilauea condo, which is surrounded by tropical rain forest. Very romantic. Carlos prepared a nice breakfast for the two days that we stayed. We were blessed to be there one night when Kilauea erupted. The manager texted us and we were among the first people there. Amazing experience. The only negative is that the wifi is limited so download anything you want to watch before you come or enjoy the view and read a book”

“The property has two sides to it. We booked a two bedroom and ended up in the side with the one bedroom. The other side was the two bedroom part of the property (and the view in the photo). The property was very nice overall and typically very quiet with the sounds of nature being the only ones you heard so it was a good overall stay.”

“It was beautiful. At night there is no one around but all the little noises make you feel like you're in an enchanted forest Perfect for 1 or 2 adults. It is an artistic setting with a store and a little cafe ! It was excellent!”

“This cabin is one of the most special places I have ever stayed in. Barry and Jim, the owners, take immaculate care of it. They stock it with breakfast foods (eggs, milk, coffee, fresh fruits, cereal, oatmeal, bread etc) for quick starts to the day. We loved coming back to the cabin after a long day in the National Park. The fireplace quickly heated up the cabin and the heated blankets made getting out of bed difficult! When the volcanoe started erupting, we were 10 minutes from the...

“We loved that we were away feom the city and in the country. We absolutely loved the yard, garden, fresh eggs. This place is cozy and had everything we needed to stay 9 days. I would definitely stay here again. ”
