“We checked in to this historic hotel close to downtown Halifax to celebrate our wedding anniversary. This hotel is an early 20th century landmark, not overly ornate, but classic and tasteful. The room was quiet and comfortable, with high quality beds and linens. When the front staff heard that we were celebrating our anniversary, they left us a lovely gift of a bottle of champagne and a box of chocolates with a note from the hotel team. “Overall great experience, minus the bit of attitude from a guy at the beginning talking about parking ~ he was on a bit of a high trip and I did find him rude. He needs to learn you can talk to people and your customers in a better manner!! … other guy there with him was lively, so mannerly and helpful ~ maybe he could learn from him!! A beautiful hotel and would stay there again. 😌”

“Really nice hotel. Everything looks new and modern. Quick check in and out. When we called the front desk for more bedding and a crib they were really prompt. Room was really clean and the beds and pillows were comfortable. The pool was very busy so a little less enjoyable than it could have been. It was smaller than I had hoped too. We were on the 3rd of 4 floors. The people above us were really loud and thumping really late so if you have small kids that go to bed earlier maybe book the 4th...
