“Low Wood Bay is a lovely hotel with amazing facilities. The room was spot on, restaurants top notch and spa facilities excellent. The only criticism I’d have is that even as a resident you need to pay extra to use the outdoor pool and hot tubs - that was a bit cheeky and also steep at £25 per person. It’s not a cheap hotel anyway, which is fine, and is reflected in the quality but not when you have to pay for extras like that.”

“Overall, the stay was very good and was perfect for our trip to the Lake District. The location is perfect for navigating the Lakes as easy access to the M6. To the top of the lakes, it took us 1 hour by car. The continental breakfast served was plenty to start each day with. You can have cooked for £12 extra but we felt the continental option was more than enough. The room was spacious and up to date. We stayed in the Herdsman. “I'm the same person who rated 5,0 below, few months ago. I was so entusiasthic right then that I decided to stay again in this hotel despite I was going to drive 45 minutes the day after. I was wrong, this time I had a complete different experience. The bathroom this time was molding and old, i got 3 towels 1 large and 2 small, the large one I had to use in the pool because they had none to give me and one of the two small was dirty. Not cool.
