“I'm the same person who rated 5,0 below, few months ago. I was so entusiasthic right then that I decided to stay again in this hotel despite I was going to drive 45 minutes the day after. I was wrong, this time I had a complete different experience. The bathroom this time was molding and old, i got 3 towels 1 large and 2 small, the large one I had to use in the pool because they had none to give me and one of the two small was dirty. Not cool. “Staff very friendly and helpful. Good good. Bed a little uncomfortable. Pool nice and quiet in the daytime. Duvet very lumpy and no filling in areas so got a little cold in the night. Cracks in the bathroom basin.”

“One of our go to places when up in Kendal for business. Clean & friendly and a good choice of things on the menu. Food is delicious! Only downfall we had was we booked a certain table for dinner one evening and one member of staff had moved us and was quite rude about it! Original table was empty the whole time we were in the restaurant! Wouldn’t have minded if she had been polite and explained why the move had been made!”

“The staff were great. Really made my stay better. Last minute booking to avoid camping in the torrential weather and the girls working were very helpful with everything. Had an awesome night sleep. Reasonably priced for the comfort provided and breakfast was great! Would stay again. ”

“Very comfortable room and quiet considering it was a public house. Slight noise from being on a main road but I live in a very rural area so any noise will be noticeable for me! Very friendly and helpful staff.”

“La posizione non rappresenta le foto assolutamente....si trove sul ciglio di una strada in mezzo a nulla. Il verde che si nota nelle foto e' più lontano di li La camera molto spartana, umida e con un tot di polvere. La colazione va fatta dalle 8,15 alle 8,45 praticamente in una sala con cucina e l,odore ti rimane tutta la giornata sugli abiti. Dopo diverse guest house questa e' sicuramente la prima scadente....”

“Booked for my husband's 60th. Accommodated the eight of us and the dog beautifully. Each couple had their own bathroom although the one by the front door was not ensuite but this was not a problem for us.The sofa is huge and we were all able it sit/stretchout comfortably. The townhouse is fitted out to a high standard and is well equipped. The staff were extremely helpful and sorted an issue with the sky box straight away.
