“Such a lovely safari lodge in a wonderful surrounding. The Karoo ist beautiful in spring. Great safari guides with a great knowledge. Beautiful swimming pool area. Staff is very helpful and friendly. We saw a lot of animals and very close. I can highly recommend this place. ”

“The location and grounds were stunning and incredibly well kept. The children had lots of green space to play and explore and be up close with the animals. Our deck was expansive which made for lovely evenings watching the sun go down behind the hills and the sky change colour. “It was very hard to find the place as Google maps didn't recognise the address we were provided, for this reason we arrived late and having booked only one night we couldn't do any activity. The room in the cavewas very impressive and the view as well. Unfortunately there is no signal nor wifi in the rooms and they provide you with a small free amount of data (50=MB) to be used only in the restourant and the bar. “What an amazing stay! We arrived late at night, but were given such a warm welcome and even asked what we wanted to eat in advance so they could have it ready for us. A simply gorgeous location in the mountains. The focus on fresh, farm ingredients too was a treat. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. I would return here in a heartbeat. ”

“Annalee was very accommodating when we arrived late and still gave us the full tour and description of her property. The area has lots to do with ostrich farms, Cango caves. Bufflesdrift Lodge is nearby is a great place for dinner. Bufflesdrift also has elephant tours and feedings etc!”

“All good except the breakfast. It is not on site you get a voucher to go elsewhere. With the Covid I thought this was not right as we weren't informed of this beforehand. We specifically chose a place that included breakfast so that we did not have to go out in Beaufort West. We had to take a takeaway breakfast delivered to us from the place called 4 Sheep and it was disgusting and cold. If you stay there DO NOT include breakfast. ”

“It was a fantastic reception by the ladies, who were willing to help and ensure our stay met all our expectations. The clean room and bathroom were immediately noticed. They also informed us where the nearest restaurant was as we arrived late after their facilities were closed.”

“Absolutely beautiful stay here and we felt that the photos don’t even do it justice! The owners have thought through every single detail of this property and are so friendly and welcoming. Really safe area, off road parking and lovely cafe across the main road for food and drinks. The outdoor dining area is just perfect for cooking and making the most of your fabulous stay at De Kleine Prince! Wish we’d had more time here as we loved it, thank you!”
