“The location and grounds were stunning and incredibly well kept. The children had lots of green space to play and explore and be up close with the animals. Our deck was expansive which made for lovely evenings watching the sun go down behind the hills and the sky change colour. “Our family stayed at Swartberg Country Manor for one night in February. The first thing that greeted us was the beautiful grounds, and restaurant with a stunning view of the mountain. Then we saw a beautiful historic house with a big old stoep; here we enjoyed 3 very comfortable rooms. And let me not forget the kind and professional staff, including their head chef who made the most wonderful 3 course dinner! A gem! Thank you for a lovely stay. ”

“Such a lovely safari lodge in a wonderful surrounding. The Karoo ist beautiful in spring. Great safari guides with a great knowledge. Beautiful swimming pool area. Staff is very helpful and friendly. We saw a lot of animals and very close. I can highly recommend this place. ”

“It was very hard to find the place as Google maps didn't recognise the address we were provided, for this reason we arrived late and having booked only one night we couldn't do any activity. The room in the cavewas very impressive and the view as well. Unfortunately there is no signal nor wifi in the rooms and they provide you with a small free amount of data (50=MB) to be used only in the restourant and the bar. “Great place and a Lovely room!! But the check in felt a little weird/very rushed. The manager showed us the apartment and explained everything in like 1 minute. It was alot to take in and remember and he talked very fast so I had to ask again several times... It felt like he was in a hurry and that in turn made us feel unwelcome. Very weird customer service. But the place was lovely in a great quiet place with gorgeous surroundings.”

“Absolutely beautiful stay here and we felt that the photos don’t even do it justice! The owners have thought through every single detail of this property and are so friendly and welcoming. Really safe area, off road parking and lovely cafe across the main road for food and drinks. “The eco village is tucked away in the private nature reserve. Wonderful views of springboks as you drive to the eco village on the grounds. Rooms were clean and modern, exceptionally comfortable bed. We will welcomed upon arrival with a glass of port - nice touch. Dinner and breakfast were exceptional, tasty food especially the rack of lamb. Stargazing with Eben was an exciting and unique experience. Will stay here again.”
