“Beautifully appointed rooms with private plunge pool and view of ocean. Staff very courteous. Breakfasts included in rate were excellent. We ate dinner at the hotel most nights for convenience and because the food and service was good. The main drawback of this hotel is that it is too far away from Santa Teresa and the main beaches to walk so you need to book taxis ( $20 each way), rent an ATV or rent a car. ”

“Shawn went beyond and gave us a room more suitable for 3 people even though he was not prepared to rent out yet. He was aware what the apt needed and will bring up to standards I have no doubt. Great location and Shawn was responsive and met us at the gate. Highly recommend.”

“If you are looking for a spectacular view and privacy, this is your place. We've been vacationing for 30 years and this was the best view we've ever had. It's very private as well. The dipping pool is awesome but if you rent the Casita you can't swim in the regular pool at the adjacent house. The bed was comfy and the bath fine. The kitchen is outside and that makes it interesting but we did fine with it. Birds weren't that plentiful but plenty of lizards and hearing the howler monkeys barking...

“The hotel is dated and the shower was falling apart. The pool is useless as there is no shallow end and not place to sit in the pool. The food was ok at best. My spouse and I were the only ones in the restaurant for dinner one night so I asked the waiter if the chef would filet the fish rather than have a whole fish. He gave me such a hard time but eventually the chef conceded When we asked Francois to see if a taxi would take us .25 miles up the road, wait for 5min to get an ice cream to take...
