Scollegare e distendersi! Questa cabina privata dispone di una camera da letto a soppalco, due bagni, cucina completa, stufa a legna, vasca a getto, lavatrice e asciugatrice, pozzo del fuoco all'aperto e molto altro! Goditi una serata sul ponte coperto coperto per tutta la lunghezza mentre ascolti le rane gracide nel laghetto vicino. Sei solo a pochi passi dalla pesca delle acque rifornite del fiume Fisher. Goditi il ponte coperto su Red Hill Creek. Visita i vigneti vicini o il birrificio locale. Fai un breve tragitto in auto verso la Blue Ridge Parkway, dove abbondano splendide viste. Fai un'escursione al vicino Stone Mountain State Park o al Pilot Mountain State Park. Assicurati di controllare gli eventi presso il vicino Blue Ridge Music Center, nonché Mount Airy ed Elkin. Letto matrimoniale al piano superiore, futon pieghevole al piano di sotto.

Lovely Log Cabin in the Woods
Wonderful log cabin in great country location near Mount Airy, NC. Craftsmanship is stunning. Lots of do's and don't's in check-in notebook and around the cabin, so be sure to review all of them. Primary source of heat is cozy wood burning stove with plenty of split wood, so don't forget your fire starting skills. You may want to bring paper or cardboard and matches to help start the fire. Electric space heaters also available throughout the cabin. Lots of room to walk a dog. Nice stay!

Not Enough Time
Hosts were great, only wish we could stay longer! Location to Mt Airy and other sites is fantastic, the cabin is cozy and just perfect for 2 ... Accomodations were awesome, everything you need to have a great stay. Bed was super soft and comfy and kitchen was totally capable of doing a full scale meal or whatever you want to prepare. We are looking forward to coming back soon when the leaves change. All in all a great place to stay.

Very Comfortable!
It was 14 degrees outside but nice and warm inside. The cabin was extremely clean and comfortable. There were plenty of dishes to cook a nice Christmas dinner. It was nice having a bathroom upstairs and down. Property was quiet. Nice property to walk outside.

Beautiful rugged location
Loved the rustic nature of this well-appointed cabin! Setting was beautiful and we loved the firepit. Drive was a bit hard to locate (rocks which mark drive aren't as large as we thought) and drive a bit rugged but overall an excellent stay!

We had a wonderful time staying here, the cabin was great! Everything we could have possibly needed was there, the communication with the owner could not have been better! It was very clean, close to everything you would need/want to do, but secluded enough for privacy and relaxation. We will definitley be back

If you are looking for a secluded getaway this is the place for you. The cabin is located on 60 acres and the only other tenants are the landowners. It is quite with only an occasional vehicle going down the road or a tractor working the farm. The cabin is as pictured except for the lights draped around the deck. those have been removed. The ac unit is small but will cool the cabin. Just leave it at the desired temperature. There is a river on the property that you can fish. The landowners are awesome people and very friendly and polite. You and your pets have free range of the 60 acres. Just be aware there are 2 other dogs on the property so if your dogs don’t play well with others you need to be careful. I would highly recommend this cabin if you are looking for a quite get away. Me and the wife have been doing a trip once a year for the past 6 years to escape the hassles of the city and this is by far the best one yet for finding quiet and seclusion. There are several towns 20-30 minutes away that have attractions if that is what you are looking for. There is also I believe 20 plus wineries in the area that you can visit. We spent most of our time just enjoying the cabin. The cabin is equipped with the basic essentials that will get you by for cooking. I would highly recommend this cabin for anybody that wants a quiet, secluded getaway.

We were forced to leave early
I have rented through VRBO many times over the years, everything from small cabins to condos by the sea, and have been extremely satisfied with all of our vacation rentals. This is the first time I have felt compelled to write a negative review. My husband and I rented the cabin listed above for a five day retreat. When we arrived, we were pleased with the countryside and the coziness and cleanliness of the cabin. We were excited to stay for a restful and relaxing time, while also exploring the surrounding areas in NC. We arrived in the afternoon, and after going into town for groceries, we came back to the cabin to have dinner and relax after a long days drive to get there. While sitting on the futon couch, I had a flea jump on me. The next morning while in the downstairs bathroom, several more fleas appeared. We went to Mount Airy to see the shops and drive around. The next day, we couldn’t sit anywhere downstairs or upstairs without having fleas jumping all over us. Four times I pulled out the vacuum and did upstairs and downstairs, but they just kept coming. At this point we contacted Mike, the caretaker and he said that they would flea bomb the house the next day. We were traveling, so we were going to be gone all day anyway. When we came back late afternoon, we saw no sign except a trunk that had been moved and the ac upstairs had been turned back on. No sign of a note, a flea bombing, or the smell of cleaner after you clean countertops etc. after using the flea bomb method ( having pets in the past, I’ve had to do this so I know what it takes). The fleas were still everywhere. This was unacceptable, and I questioned whether they did anything at all. Mike initially said that another renter two weeks ago had two pit bulls that had stayed there, so it could have been from them. But when we contacted them again about there still being fleas in the house, the wife contacted the daughter( owner) who said she would refund our money if we got out that night which we did. And then she wrote an outright lie which she posted to VRBO…her words below. “Guests went hiking and were not happy with the insects that they brought in from outside. No such insects were in the cabin before their stay. They requested fogger, which was granted despite no fleas being found. They still claimed fleas after the fogger. They requested to cancel.” We NEVER went hiking, never requested to cancel. We were reimbursed but disappointed by this experience.

Our stay at the cabin was great. Enjoyed the cabin had everything we needed and would rent again. Owner was super responsive the smoke detector needed new battery and with in 10 minutes it was fixed and replaced. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a nice meal. Quiet Getaway
We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Our week was filled with short outings and many quiet moments that made our stay the perfect getaway to recharge and come back refreshed. Our dogs even listened better and didn't ever wander too far.

Amazing
Surprised by husband with a Father's Day weekend and we had a blast. The property is very secluded, which is exactly what we like. The dogs were able to come with us and that was super important. We walked in and it just felt right. We are already hoping to come back!

True vacation
Absolutely loved the rustic cabin and location. Was exactly what we were hoping for. Peaceful, laid-back, re-charge vacation at a cabin that had all you would ever need. Close to state parks and blue mountain parkway. Can't say enough on how much we enjoyed it. Thanks for everything

Can't say enough about this place -- the perfect cabin in a beautiful, under-appreciated part of the state. Close to vineyards, Stone Mountain, Pilot Mountain, and Elkin. But you might be just as happy sitting on the porch listening to birds, or at the fire pit admiring the stars.

Quaint, cozy and convenient
We were perfectly at home in this lovely cabin. Surrounded by trees with birds singing their beautiful tunes, we were also conveniently located near Andy Griffiths’ hometown of Mount Airy and the Blue Ridge Music Center. A perfect location, halfway along the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Peaceful Getaway
My husband and I rented this cabin for an anniversary getaway. It was quiet, peaceful, and just what we needed for our short stay. The cabin was clean and had all the amenities we needed to be comfortable. Cell service is not very good in the area but not being bothered by phone calls was quite a nice treat! We would definitely stay here again.

Girls Get Away
The place was amazingly clean and quiet. Everything 2 working moms needed. We were greeted by a curious humming bird in the morning on the back deck and by frogs at night by the fire pit. We really enjoyed talking to Mr. Hatcher and was blessed by the fresh corn and squash. The place was well built, comfortable and larger then the pictures show. We are already talking about booking the cabin again.
