“Our stay for my son's birthday was fantastic and the room was exceptional. It was great to be able to share the experience with my young grandchildren and for them to be very welcome. They especially enjoyed the pool. What we didn't like was the parking charges! The restaurants in the hotel were fully booked as we didn't prebook, so we went out for food. As we parked in the underground carpark we had to pay £13 to go out for food after only parking for 5 hours. We discovered the outside carpark...

“excellent hotel, old but charming for that reason, super location, in front of the castle and many restaurants, pubs and shops. The room is spacious, beds are comfortable, breakfast is excellent, staff helpful and efficient. We tried dining at their restaurant and everything was amazing ”

“The hotel was almost ok except the bed. It is incredible that in 2022 they still use spring mattresses and the springs pop us and you feel them in your back the whole night. What a shame fornsuch a hotel chain”

“Good location right near the train station and bus terminal. It's quieter than I expected - I only actually hear trains if I was paying attention. Room was decent for price and perfect for 1 person. Hotel looks new and well kept.”

“Lovely overnight stay at the marriott Cardiff-easy check-in. Shame only 1 out of 3 lifts working when we checked in but by the evening 2 lifts were working. Room spacious and lovely comfy bed and pillows. Easy walk for all of Cardiff city centre bars, restaurants and shopping. Lovely breakfast (self service) in browns restaurant . All the staff friendly and helpful. Would recommend a stay here”
