“Old works charm. ”

“Love the Swan. Great breakfast. Cosy bar. Staff are helpful and it has a nice atmosphere. The rooms are a bit old now though. The single room in particular was pretty tiny and dark, as the windows were small. The other issue is they turn the heating off fairly often. My room was really cold after midnight and during the day. Apparently you can request a heater but no one told me this. A friend told me after. Would be good to know as it's an old building so it gets chilly. It seems to be...

“If you are looking for a boutique hotel with a good "value for money", here you are. In the city centre, wide rooms, very clean, lovely furniture, warm welcome, nice breakfast. The cherry on the cake is the restaurant downstairs: lovely food and very nice wines. I will stay here again”

“Lovely hotel. Close to harrogate centre. Lovely bar area, recently refurbished . The new Amber restaurant was amazing. Rooms a bit dated and tatty. Have not been decorated in years ( I stayed here in 2018 and still the same decor. Bed comfy and big rooms. ”
