“We stayed on Sunday evening and arrived to a warm and cosy atmosphere. Our room had every we needed. It was quiet and all we could hear was bird song. We had that evening in the restaurant and the food was delicious. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The beef roast was amazing. We stayed for breakfast on Monday morning and the selection and quality was excellent. We had a lovely stay and would stsy again, thank you. ”

“Had a one night stay booked, as we had an evening wedding reception to go to nearby. We arrived early as we wanted to have a relaxing lunch and not have to rush. Easy access off the A505, ample parking. Had a delicious lunch from a varied menu, quiet, but a lovely friendly atmosphere. Staff were fantastic, very attentive. The accommodation was on par with the price we paid, it did the job! Breakfast was lovely in the morning, just what we needed. Check in and out was easy. ”

“Very nice country hotel in the countryside near Duxford IWM, reasonable rooms, beautiful old building, free parking. All fine except the shower temperature knob was stuck on "burning hot" and when I reported it to reception upon checking out I was told.. "it's the customers' fault, they keep forcing the knobs out". Had the response been "Sorry sir, we apologize" my overall opinion would have been different.”
