Good Stay

It was a very quick stay of only two nights but the overall feel of this place is very nice. Very charming interiors and it is located in the historic portion of New Bern.Only issue I had was that I tried calling the contact provided for clarity on how to get it and didn’t get an answer. This is not what you want when you have a young infant and are trying to navigate in the dark. Luckily the long term renter on the bottom floor was able to answer/direct me on how to get in.

Great downtown access!

Very nice accommodations. Fridge needs updating, uneven coldness. Good mattress. Listing states there is a drip coffee pot, but it had been upgraded to a Kuerig! Had ample parking, but our assigned spot was a little small for a large truck. Really great location, would definitely stay again!

New Bern is better than Savannah.

We went to New Bern for our anniversary and didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as we did. We’ve been to Savannah more times than I can remember and New Bern is way better. Lots of historical things to see. The property we stayed at was really clean and close to everything. We would definitely stay here again.

Close to everything Downtown New Bern has to offer.

My wife, daughter( 8 months) and I had the opportunity to stay at this VRBO. While an older home, it was well kept and had everything we needed. It’s only a few blocks from downtown and we could easily get everywhere on foot, you can literally throw a baseball and hit Tryon Palace. I highly recommend this property.

Clean, Comfortable and Convenient

New Bern is a sweet historical town and this property perfectly matches it! We loved being within blocks of the whole town. The owners were VERY responsive to our questions and needs and hand delivered a new Kuerig to replace the broken coffee maker (with a sweet card and surprise). The bedding and towels were soft, not at all like a hotel. Kitchen was well appointed and the same with the bathroom. Once we got used to the raised thresholds we fell in love with Unit B. The owners provided a list of local restaurants and we were delighted that each one was excellent! Everything about our stay was extraordinary. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend and we will return in the future.
