“It’s a shame that this inn lacks investment and renovation. The owner works hard and tries her best but the establishment is in need of modernization. Musty smell from the old carpets, old bathrooms and badly locking doors. I felt that I didn’t get value for money compared to the other inns and bed & breakfasts we stayed in during our time in Nova Scotia. This was probably the most expensive but the least value. “A M A Z I N G! Thank you for an amazing stay at your beautiful Inn. We were welcomed by gracious hosts and shown the stunning manor. They gave us some dinner suggestions and we had the most amazing seafood! Our bed was comfortable, and the whole place was nice and quiet for a sound sleep. The hosts were kind enough to have an amazing breakfast to go for us as we had a flight to catch. Great coffee too! We will definitely return!”

“This is a unique and beautiful property and a quiet, relaxing getaway. The view from the Penthouse is amazing. Besides the duvet blanket the room and kitchen area was very clean. The breakfast was delicious and made especially for us to fit our dietary needs. We had some trouble with the shower, tub and motorized blinds but it wasn't a huge deal. ”

Finally, the breakfast was fresh and tasty (loved the homemade croissants) and served by the one and only Scotsman in a kilt. Enjoyed our time there. ”

“Beautiful property! Recent overnight stay to attend a wedding. Appreciated the early checkin to get dressed. Purchased a bottle of wine for later that evening, very reasonably priced. Enjoyed relaxing in the various sitting rooms while admiring the beautiful antique furniture and artwork. A very welcoming space! Very comfy bed. And a delicious full breakfast the next morning prior to checkout. Would highly recommend!”
