“Stair inside the room that can directly goto the other room without door/gate. Feel not safe if stranger live downstair, also not safe if young kids walking around. The toilet without any ventilation fan, make it a bit smelly. Parking area is not big enough for 2 car, maybe is the parking instruction not show clearly how to park the car. The instruction should show how two car parking in the parking area. This house better for those who only need sleep.”

“We had a great stay at the Cozy Inn, Otaru. Building is very well laid out, and rooms were fairly sizeable, new and clean. There isn't much of a common area, or kitchen etc but that's fine as there is lots in the area. Staff was super friendly and helpful, it's one of those properties we wish we would have stayed longer.”

“For the most part this was a good stay. Convenient parking right outside, super nice onsen, and comfortable room. The experience would've been better if the room had been "pre-heated" as it was really cold when we checked in and it took quite some time for the heater to heat up the room to a comfortable temperature. Check-in was a bit tedious as it felt as a slower process doing it at the machine (with a staff member there to help) rather than just handling it directly in the reception.”

“Great, small hotel in a sleepy very small city. Otaru is absolutely fantastic. Amazing food, but don’t expect late nights out. Clean, comfortable room and a super helpful staff.
