“A very unusual, and singularly unique hotel with much to commend it. The welcome was wholesome and kind. I received help to my room with my luggage. The room was ok. A little tight, but well appointed and suitable for use. Clean, freshly decorated, well-appointed bathroom, excellent shower, etc. The bar area was buzzy with activity and the service was second to none. The drinks were great and the food was excellent. ”

“Just brilliant! We really enjoyed our stay at Oakhill. Our room was large and very comfortable with a fantastic bathroom. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was wonderful, with a good selection of gluten free options. The waiting staff were friendly and highly efficient. Breakfast was also excellent. Well done!”

“We really enjoyed our one night stay. Room is incredibly well equipt and spacious. Breakfast in the downstairs tea room was fantastic. Would highly recommend.”

“Stayed in a pirate room and the theme was great and everything was decorated brilliantly. Plenty of storage space, small but sufficient room with great space saving and fun bunks for kids. Only issue was the cleanliness. There was food crumbs on the kids room ladder, sweet wrappers down the side of the shelf and chewing gum stuck to the lamp. That put a bit of a negative spin on it but if it had been cleaned properly then it's a great place to stay. ”

“Lovely B&B and pub, the owners was very helpful and friendly, food was very nice in the evening, and breakfast, bed was comfortable and room was clean, it sites out on it's own with some beautiful views. Would definitely stay again. ”

“We loved the hotel as it was in a remote area, away from the hussle and bustle of city life- it was like stepping back in time. The views from the hotel are amazing Hotel was clean, the staff were welcoming and very accomadatinhg, and went out their way to help you. We will definateky be back, hopefully in the summer to explore more. The only downside, the sat nav didnt pick uo the property and took us on a scenic detour, which is ok but not when its pitch black in December. What shoukd have...
