“It was lovely we were there for a two day break. Staff are lovely and so helpful. Breakfast was lovely . We had the full English which was presented well I had the gluten free version and couldn’t complain . Same for evening meal a varied menu and also a gluten free . vegan , and dairy free . “Arrived earlier than expected and we were greeted by friendly cheerful staff who checked to see if our room was ready. To our delight the room was ready and we were able to check in. “We had a really lovely one night stay here to celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday. I had emailed the hotel before arrival to let them know of the occasion, and they kindly gave us a room upgrade and left a note and cupcakes in the room. Acknowledgements like this really make a hotel stand out and we were very happy. It was the first time we had stayed since the refurbishment, and all areas of the hotel are beautiful. The room itself was stunning, with views of both of the sea and the Mournes....

“Absolutely beautiful place from the scenery to the gorgeous rooms. The owners were pure delightful and couldnt do enough. Now..breakfast..wow fresh croissants, toast and a full fry! Tea coffee orange and Gareths own ginger drink..lovely. Really cant say good enough things other than we will be making this a yearly visit! And a special card and chocolates on arrival to celebrate hubbys birthday.”

“Myself and my partner only stayed for one night. The cabin was very clean and cosy with everything we needed for our short break. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent, things that not all places we have stayed get right. We used it as a stop off on our trip to photograph the mountains and surrounding areas, this was the perfect stop off for what we wanted. Thank you for the stay, it made our break, we will definitely be booking again.”

“Overall a good experience but we had to change room in the middle of the nigth. Nothing to complain about the first but around midnight we discovered that the hotel also has a music bar and the room was just above it. We complained and were moved to another room. So happy end despite of the inconvenience. Since music is made every week end, it would be nice not to give out those rooms when others are available. Everything else was good: cleanliness, breakfast, parking.”
