“My husband and I had a nice Thanksgiving getaway stay at this gorgeous place. The host communicated very well with us prior to our stay. The place was SUPER CLEAN and very spacious. We enjoyed having coffee and drinks on the back porch overlooking the lake. It was a very cold few days so we didn't get to use the kayaks they provided. Overall great time and would highly recommend.”

“We enjoyed our stay in the Bordeaux room in the main house. It was easy to find, clean, and equipped with a microwave and a refrigerator. We walked to the town square and explored various shops. Since Caddo Lake was our prime reason for coming, we drove about 30 min to be on a lake tour.”

“Nestled in the woods near lake Livingston ,Tx just a few miles from Coldspring , Tx is a true gem . The Bungaloo has a lot of character with modern amenities . Deer , squirrels , hummingbirds , and numerous lizards are available to entertain. The large windows allow you to enjoy the woods and creek , and cattle can be seen grazing in the pasture across the way . The host , Howard Ransom was very helpful , readily available via email or telephone . I highly recommend this retreat, and will be...

“The tiny living was super cute. My family and best friends enjoyed our stay for my birthday getaway. The house was cleaned and enjoyable. The only thing that I gave a 4 star is the bathroom seemed wiped down instead cleaned. There was hair left in the shower and dirt on the floor, but overall 4.5555 stars-- thank you ”

“We loved our stay at the Cozy Cottage! The house was clean and comfortable, annd accommodated our family of 4 with everything we needed for our stay. The neighborhood was really cute and peaceful. The people we encountered were very friendly. The house has a good sized yard that our kids enjoyed playing in and plenty of room for boat parking. Plus a pretty lake view from the porch! The neighborhood boat ramp was easy to use and close proximity to the house. We will definitely be returning! ”
