“Very bad experience with hot spring. You cannot relax in the onsen because there are too many people that speak loudly, people singing when are washing his body and too many kids that use onsen like swimming pool spray water to the other guest. I will not back to this hotel and surely for the future I will choose "adult only" onsen. ”

“The open-air bath on the balcony was great. The meals were okay but not as good as we have had at upscale onsen hotels. The shuttle bus service was good, although the bus was not equipped to handle large baggage that foreign tourists usually have. There is not much to do in the immediate vicinity of the hotel so you need to have the shuttle take you to the area around the train station.”

“The fully contained apartment was a pleasure to stay in. It was private, comfortable and uniquely Japanese.for a split level space. There were plenty of futon beds and the kitchen had all that we needed. The attic bedroom was comfortable but does not have standing room. Thank you for a unique Japanese stay.”

“The hotel is old and in disrepair but everything works. The food is just adequate but the open bar with beer, sake, wine, shochu helps. The onsen was fine with one large rotemburo outside and three large baths of varying temperatures inside. The service was great though, the staff always greeted you with smiles and were very helpful. It’s a 23 minute walk uphill from the train station or an 800 yen ride by taxi. ”

“Buffet variety for dinner and breakfast was great. Live sushi and tempura made in front of you. Huge selection! You also rent by the hour a private onsen which we did. Public onsen was okay. Had steam room and sauna and cold plunge area. Enough lockers and showe stalls. Extra towels and water stations were there. Rooms were big and separate rooms if you have 4 people. Mix of western bed and futons on the floor. ”

“Esperienza stupenda, hotel con stanze in stile giapponese dotata di tutti i comfort. Personale gentilissimo anche se un po' in difficoltà con l'inglese. Situato a due passi dalla stazione di hakone-yumoto. Bagni termali in due piani separati per uomini e donne assolutamente da provare, un'esperienza unica! ”
