“The hotel is old and in disrepair but everything works. The food is just adequate but the open bar with beer, sake, wine, shochu helps. The onsen was fine with one large rotemburo outside and three large baths of varying temperatures inside. The service was great though, the staff always greeted you with smiles and were very helpful. It’s a 23 minute walk uphill from the train station or an 800 yen ride by taxi. ”

“Ho soggiornato in questo suggestivo ryokan per due notti. La struttura fa parte di un complesso alberghiero piu ampio ed e' composta da 5 o 6 ryokan immersi in un bel giardino molto curato. All'interno della struttura sono presenti degli onsen veramente belli da godersi a fine giornata. Personale gentilissimo anche se non parla minimamente inglese se non quelli alla reception. “Hotel molto buono, eccezionale l'onsen, molto pulito. Peccato che il servizio navetta per la stazione sia limitato. La struttura non è modernissima ma nel complesso è tenuta bene.”

“Quite centrally located hotel, easily accessible to the Hakone station. People who have travel google maps, easy to easy many other location including the stop for Hakune cruise. Slightly disappointment that i coudl not join the Onsen (thermal bath) as i had small tattoes on my hands, though, my family enjoyed.
