“Bellissimo hotel tradizionale con onsen interno a disposzione della clientela. Offrono servizio navetta per gli onsen della città (raggiungibili comunque a piedi in 10 minuti) e per la stazione. Unico peccato non aver potuto cenare in camera con cena tradizionale giapponese in quanto lo staff che parla inglese quel giorno non fosse adeguato a capire la richiesta”

“Monjusou was a fantastic place to stay in Amanohashidate. It is close to the station, less than 5 minutes walk, and very close to all of the great sites to visit. The staff was excellent and treated us very well, and were helpful and friendly. The restaurant was amazing too.”

“Lovely decorated ryokan, but no lift to the rooms. Rooms were very nicely equipped even though it was not large. My room windows faced the river with the “rotating” bridge over the river to Amanohashidate, the view was very nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is great, next to the area’s main attraction. Some shopping on the road leading to ryokan, the Kaiseki meals were well presented. Delicious meal even with the ingredients not top grade.”

We had a superbly decorated very very very large traditional room (tatamis), a view of the little port and the sea of Japan with sunset…. “really good facility, close to the water front which i love and in between several areas of interest that you can walk to.
