Chalet a Walkers Creek

“We particularly enjoyed the spectacular views. Beds were comfy. Found the decor a bit overdone. Lighting was hard to figure out (especially since we were directed to keep outside lighting at a minimum.) Master toilet didn't work (sent message to property manager). One bedroom on mid-level did not have a bathroom access (found that to be a little strange) and not represented in information about the house. Hot water not working in one of the kitchen sinks and took forever to get hot in the other...

“The cabin is exactly as pictured- it is beautiful, spacious yet cozy, and very clean. The host was attentive and pleasant. Three generations were in the house and all were very pleased. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!”

“We had a wonderful time at the Harvest Moon. Good location for a mountain getaway. The house is decorated nicely and is cozy. Basement is a plus with the pool table, air hockey and hot tub. The owners were easy to reach and answered all my questions in a timely manner. I hope to go again one day!”

Stove and oven not clean (setting off smoke detector upon use); Floors not vacuumed, food on kitchen floor; All surfaces dusty; Windows inside dirty; Several light bulbs burnt out. ”

“We had a great two day stay at the cabin with our family and friends! The property was clean, had ample sleeping space and in a great location-5 min drive to Wintergreen Resort. The host was responsive when we had questions during the stay and even beforehand. Would recommend for those with families! ”

“We live locally but had friends and family coming to town for my birthday so we rented Riley’s retreat. Our weekend was filled with visits to all the food and beverages on 151. I loved the fun amenities at the house ( hot tub, pool table, games, etc). My initial investigation I didn’t realize we we so far up Wintergreen but in the end it did not matter and was a perfect house for the weekend ! Thank you !!”
