“Had a great long weekend at Wintergreen mountain. The house was spacious and generally well appointed and maintained. Pros:- lots of bedrooms- lots of games/activities- breathtaking viewsCons:- dishwasher was bad at cleaning (we blame the detergent provided; recommend BYO if you’ll be cooking a lot)- some of the beds were quite hard- hot tub was a tad grimy, and we had to clean it to enjoy it”

“Lovely house. Secluded and private. Easy check in and check out. Very clean at check in, plenty of towels, soap, dishes, etc. Huge deck with nice views of the woods. Kitchen had everything you needed. Internet was fast enough for streaming. Comfortable quality furniture. ”

“Very fun getaway property. Well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, coffee makers and well heated/insulated in the wintry weather. Property is lovely for walks and must be amazing in all seasons. Close enough to Lexington for errands, far enough away to be secluded and quiet. Pool Table was a big hit!”

“We traveled X-country from TX to meet up with our adult daughter & her partner, who traveled down from NJ, and we decided that western Virginia was a good place to hold our reunion just before Christmas. We were lucky to find Bud's Place. It is a lovely home, nicely decorated for Christmas, & there were plenty of spaces for us to be together to eat, play, or hang out, as well as places for us to retreat to for some privacy or work.
