“This place could not be in a better location. You would never know that you are practically down town Florence while staying in this little oasis. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained were you wake up to the deer, pheasant, and ducks with your morning coffee. The stairs to the second story bedroom can be treacherous so be cautious going up and down and the upstairs bathroom is quite small, however the bottom bathroom makes up for it! “We traveled with 9 family members for 9 days over christmas to New Years Day. We were totally delighted with the home which is perfectly located and is better than depicted in the photos. The common rooms are beautiful including a gracious dining table large enough for our large family to enjoy some formal holiday dinners under a beautiful Venetian chandelier. The beds are comfortable. Our group of 6 enjoyed having wine on the covered porch soaking in the incredible views. The property is gorgeous. If you stay in Florence for a few days, take the 8euro train trip to Lucca for a day. Great walking town without the crowds of Florence.”
